HEY MSCHF, I CHALLENGE YOU TO TAKE AN ORIGINAL NOKIA 3310 AND MAKE IT THE SAME WEIGHT AS A BRICK, SO LIKE 4.4 POUNDS.

SOME RULES FOR Y’ALL

  1. It has to look exactly, if not at least similar, to the original Nokia 3310. That means it has to have the same dimensions as a Nokia 3310.
  2. As mentioned before, it has to weigh the same as a standard clay brick: 4.4 pounds.
  3. Finally, it must be able to function in any sort of way. You can give it a small LCD screen, have it only make noise, or incorporate some sort of function. It just has to do something lol

MSCHF  “BRICK PHONE”

WHO TF AM I AND WHY AM I DOING THIS?
Whoever is currently at the MSCHF Art 2 exhibit in LA and found one of the QR codes, what's up? I'm Sam Chweh, and I'm probably walking past you right now. I'm a third-year student at Cal State Long Beach, studying Studio Arts with a passion for Graphic Design and a pursuit of Art Direction. I wanted to do this because I'm always coming up with personal projects that I never get the chance to do, either because they're just outside of my budget or because life/school gets in the way. I also just love goofy ideas like this, and I thought my spring break would be the perfect time to finally get to one of them. It would also be super dope if this project came to life. Getting a chance to work with the MSCHF team would be incredible, so this is me shooting my shot. If you guys can steal a whole ass sink from the MET, then I can sneak in a little QR code. Thank you for being awesome. <3

SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Take a pic of the Nokia 3310 you find. Post it, and use #MSCHFBRICKPHONE
